Developing Basic Skills in Internet,Browsing and Email

This  one day course is divided into two modules.

We provide  a short, easy-to-master  methods of teaching.

1. Web Skills.(browsers, search engines, social media)
2. Mail Skills ( gmail, yahoo mail, hotmail etc)
3. Netiquette

Each module is self-paced and includes practical exercises -so you can
check how much you have learned.


COURSE OBJECTIVE:

    Our goal is to give you a solid foundation. Once the
trainee have grasp the basics, they will have a clear understanding on
which to build their future knowledge and skill with computers
and Internet.


FOR WHOM:  
Completely Zero knowledge in computers & internet and the ability
to use the keyboard and mouse functions.

Course Contents:

What You will learn:  mastering the basic skills in

•   Understanding the hardwares
•   The correct use of the mouse
•   Keyboard and typing tips
•  Opening and closing software files
•  Accessing a CD-ROM
•  Locating a saved file
•  How to copy and paste files or text
•  Practical Exercises on various topics

Course medium :              : English and Malay

Trainer Student Ratio      : 1: 15

Assessment:                      : Questions and Answers session, exercises will gauge trainee understanding of the topics

Certificate:                        : Certificate of  Attendance will be issued

 At the end of the course students will be able to correctly, effectively and confidently
do the following:

1.    Browsing and surfing  the Internet

2.    Use the mouse; computer keyboard

3.    Able to use word processing softwares

4.    Able to download  free softwares

5.    Able to use search engine

6.    Able to create their own email

7.    Able to open accounts in social media and interact actively

8.    Be a responsible netizens and practice netiquette
